The Homeless Wolf Gets a Home: The Real Story Behind the Little Red Riding Hood Classic

Reflection:

I felt like this project was a good experience for me. Technology can be a good tool to engage students and let them have the opportunity to create something digital. I love using technology so I am always excited to get new ideas to bring into my classroom. I think I would incorporate something like this during one of my ELA or Social Studies units of study. This might be good for an "end of the year" project, where they could choose a previously studied civilization and have to create a voice thread with each slide being a new aspect of their society (agriculture, religion, social hierarchy, etc.) This could be a good review of the year's work and it might help refresh those minds who have forgotten. In ELA class, the students can work on a project like the one we completed. Through this process, I have learned different resources I can use with my students that isn't just writing a paper. We can take a paper and create a book and a digital storybook so that they can display their work and be creative.
